i don't wanna grow up. i'm a toys r us kid.
each day. i join the other nine-to-fivers. the daily grind.
as i look around me. i see suits. and heels. an assortment of briefcases. they are bulging with files. and reports. and laptops. and legal pads.
i find myself smiling. almost smug. relieved. knowing that my weighty work bag is filled with board games. and playing cards. and crayons. and construction paper.
this knowledge offers me a reprieve. reminds me that, many days, i get to play. and get paid for it.
admittedly, it's not all fun and games. there are days when my job is hard. very hard.
but today was not one of those days.
today. i went to toys r us.
today. i basically got to go on a shopping spree. in toys r us.
a childhood dream come true.
